Dia’s background is in community organizing and local economics, and she brings a storyteller’s ear to every conversation. As host of Ithaca Local Economy Lab, she sits down with the people actually doing it: shop owners who bought their store without a bank loan, farmers turning wool into clothing, a doctor who ditched insurance billing for a model built on trust.
Her conversations are warm but specific. They’re less about big theories and more about how these experiments actually work day to day, here in Ithaca.
